Details for St Patrick’s Day parade

St Patrick’s Day is upon us again and as usual we will be marching in the Limerick City Parade. The parade has always been a strong tradition in our group. As this is our 40th year we are hoping that all scouts will make an extra effort to join us this year. We’re also welcoming any former scouts/scouters to join us.

We’ll be meeting for the parade at Sarsfield Barracks, Lord Edward St at 11am on Sunday. We’ll be one of the first groups in the parade this year. Parents are asked to follow the group down to City Hall/Courthouse and collect their child so leaders are not left waiting all day. Full uniform is required. Please contact section leaders for more information.

We would like to wish all our members, parents and friends a happy St Patrick’s weekend.

A note for Beaver parents

Due to the bank holiday and the easter break there will be no meetings on the following dates: 18th March, 25th March and 1st April. We will post up an activity sheet over the weekend for beavers if they want to use the 3 weeks off to earn a Special Interest Badge.
